The medieval setting (this type of setting is always oddly comforting to me). The castles. The magic. The dragons. Set and costume design. The endearing Merlin, a character who, in this version, was written so well, so beautifully. I fell in love with him quickly. He is just such a gorgeous soul. Arthur, a strong and sturdy leader with a soft heart below his abrasive surface. Guinevere, a light - a good person who believes in always doing the right thing. Gaius, a man of practical, sensible, and grandfatherly wisdom. I could go on and on. JUST WATCH THIS ❤️"
