"It's a pottery competition. Heartwarming is a corny word, but I can't think of a better way to describe it. Unlike American competition shows, British competition shows have better sportsmanship and everyone is really kind and helpful to one another. It is a welcome break from all the bickering and drama of American ones. This is similar to The Great British Bake Off in that sense, but I think the judges in the Pottery Throwdown are much nicer and more loveable."
"Love a competition show of any sort that has talented people passionate about their chosen means of expression. This series is excellent. Even though I knew nothing about making pottery I was hooked after episode one!"
"The star of the show is the male judge, Keith. His passion for the craft is tangible and he's not afraid to show emotion. I wish I could be friends with him. This show is so fun and soothing. Good British friendly competition. They love to help each other and compliment each other."
"This show is so much better than it sounds. My husband and I loved it. Wish there were more seasons "
