"This was extremely cute! Sam and Jonathan were the epitome of the grumpy/sunshine trope and it was just adorable watching Jonathan’s walls come down! I loved the reverse take on the amnesia trope. It really added life into a done to death plot. Sam was also the most hysterical narrator I’ve ever read. I don’t know if it was because I was listening to it as an audiobook and had surprise bias for the jokes and humor but I was cracking up throughout the novel. This was just genuinely a hilarious book. On that note, I also thought the touch of Sam always referring to every item in the store by its factory setting name was funny but realistic for a Bed and Bath store manager. As for the rest of the characters, I adored Jonathan’s family. They were so quirky. I highly recommend listening to the Spotify audiobook version of this book though. It was really immersive, seeing as Sam is from Sheffield England and the narrator having the same accent. It was also nice hearing him change accents and voices for all the characters because not all audiobooks do that. It was really easy for me to get sucked into the world of this book that way."
"This book is perfect it’s everything I could have wanted and I’m sad to have finished it so fast because I liked this book so much I picked up boyfriend material the plot had perfect timing the intimacy was perfect for them and it felt just right giving us enough the ending is comforting nothing was left alone everything was completely explained I enjoyed this "
