"I love this movie, it’s like being wrapped in a warm blanket and given hot coco it’s very much a comfort movie for me. The story is so sweet with a classic don’t judge a book by its cover story line that is always a good lesson for children to learn and I think children would have a lot of fun with this movie and they way it functions is like children’s story book anyway. I also enjoy how British it feels, it makes it that much more comforting. The stop motion is beautiful and the Boxtroll design is hard not to fall in love with. "

"I love this movie, and it's so underrated! I have so much respect for the artists behind this movie. The amount of time and talent it takes to create a stop motion movie like this is incredible, even if they did use some digital technology. "

"It’s transphobic and ugly. It makes me sad they couldn’t have made a different movie."

"I mean, it has its moments but it's mostly just creepy. I think Trolls kind of copied it in many ways then tried to remove the near scary elements only to make a weird version instead. "

"If you don't like this movie, bless your heart. This is a steampunk Annie story and I love it."

"Stop motion is a joy to look at and I'm always a fan of studios using Voice actors and not celebrity casting. Even if it's just small roles"
