Separated from humans in a South African area called District 9, the aliens are managed by Multi-National United, which is unconcerned with the aliens' welfare but will do anything to master their advanced technology. "I feel like this is the most realistic Alien invasion movies I’ve seen. I mean come on there’s no way we wouldn’t do this kind of stuff specially if the aliens weren’t as Technically advanced as they should be coming to earth. Also the transformation of our main character is heartbreaking but also eye opening to what these aliens have to endure in their day to day. "
"Loved this. I liked that the story was just a normal guy being a asshole throughout the whole movie. The aliens looked insanely good. Plus I just love the look they have its so addictive to just stare at their designs. I liked how gory this was the gore felt not overly bloody but also not too little. And it looked nice every time there was a brutal kill. Cool action not like john wick choreographed. But it had a pleasing look to it. I liked how the main character was redeemed at the end but it still didn’t feel right. He kind of did out of the blue. But I do feel like in that situation that’s the best way it would happen. Surprisingly very realistic aliens on what we would do to them. I feel like it would definitely be a little worse. One of my favorite movies I seen in a while. The cgi was sometimes distracting with it looking weird. I only noticed it in the beginning video. And a random bug fight. Both the ground looked weird. I also like the documentary aspect. It felt very different. Loved this movie a lot."
"I love this movie, but it's so disturbing. The mindless cruelty against the aliens is hard to watch. "

"It is an interesting idea but I just found most of this movie to be kinda boring. Honestly disappointing since the first 20 minutes or so of the movie is a really neat fake documentary about the relationship between humans and aliens that live on earth, but after that segment it gets pretty slow and kinda hard to sit through in my opinion. This movie definitely has an audience, but that audience definitely doesn't include me unfortunately."
