"A great sequel to Godzilla vs Kong with the storylines begun in the films of Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island, that expands on the history of Hollow Earth and the Iwi Tribe!! As Godzilla fight the Titans above and Kong finds a dark past that should stay locked, humans journey to Hollow Earth to find the origin of a signal that may bring understanding of what is to come!!!"
"I was very disappointed in this movie!!! Legendary Studios is ruining my beloved Monsterverse.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire is so cartoonish it's infuriating. The list of things that I hated about this movie far outweighs what I liked about it. (Spoilers ahead)... I didn't like that Kong had a bad tooth that needed to be replaced with an implant and it was so easily remedied, but I really hated that they gave Kong a mechanical arm augmentation and we are supposed to believe that it was just ready to go, 1-2-3, easy peasy. I also hated that the main antagonist was a giant Orangutan Titan that rules over a large group of other monkey titans. I've been watching Monster movies since I was a kid and there was never an Orangutan monster, because it's just stupid. Someone came up with that idea just for this movie. There are so many other choices that could have been made for the main antagonist. I usually dislike the human interaction in these types of movies, but never moreso than in this one because they portray the humans as only interested in helping the titans and never mentioning the massive amount of human lives lost in the destructive Titan battles, and they really turned it up in this one... major destruction in multiple major populated cities around the globe. I also hated that the humans treated going into Hollow Earth as if it was a day trip to the beach. ⛱️ I know that it's a fantasy movie but it should be based in reality. The audience is more intelligent than they give us credit for. This movie is filled with stupid scenarios and horrible dialogue and they just expect us to accept it.
Now for some positive notes. I should mention that Mothra looked amazing. The Titan fight scenes were pretty great. The CGI was lifelike and they moved with more fluid movement than ever before. Ultimately, that is why we like these movies to see the Titans fight each other and destroy things on an epic scale. So points added in that respect. Overall, disappointing. 6/10"
"Really terrific. I’m sure I’ve seen others in this series but none were as memorable as this one. Now if you’re a purist, you might not like this vibe. While it may have your grandfathers (mine) soundtrack it couldn’t be farther from the monster movies of my youth. First, all the title characters are highly intelligent. All are enhanced, some transformery. Mothra is the coolest character. But this is special because the animated battle scenes are amazing. Really cool on the big screen. You do need to keep in mind that, this is the most PG13 ever. Fantasy violence and all that. But just fun as can be. "
"An extremely fun adventure, mainly focused on Kong with Godzilla serving as a supporting character. The plot thread that centers on Gia being the savior of mankind is disposable. Other than that, I had a blast with this one."

"This movie is a blast! The story is about THE MONSTERS, and the humans play a supporting role. It’s wasn’t a convoluted mess of plots, it was focused on King Kong’s character development and Godzilla’s lore and power. Brilliantly fun stuff. If you’re looking for something really cool and entertaining to watch - this is it! "
