A Simple Favor

"My wife and I rarely agree on movies. So it's difficult to find one that appeals to both of us. A Simple Favor is one that we both loved. This dark comedy/mystery/thriller was surprisingly good. Anna Kendrick was perfectly cast as the nerdy but charming single mom and Blake Lively was brilliant as the confident but mysterious new friend. Full of twists and turns, when you think you know the direction it's heading, it surprises you and goes a different way. Chock full of biting dark humor and things moved along at a good pace. We both enjoyed this gem of a flick. 8.5/10"

A hidden Jewel film, barely saw this today 5/19/23 and came out in 2018. Totally recommend it. A thriller/suspenseful film but with a twist of dark comedy."
