"I finally watched this a while back. I avoided it for so long because the beast reminded me of Satan and freaked me out. Why would you have the horns point backwards? Guess it's part of his "hair," but whatever. The problem with this remake is it's a musical and Bell cannot sing. My friends all warned me she couldn't and I thought they may have been exaggerating. They were not. She doesn't have a singers voice and can't hold the notes like she should. Yes the actress always wanted to be Bell but I always wanted a good Mulan sequel and remake & that didnt happen. You don't always get what you want. It makes me so sad that so many musical actresses were tossed aside so disney could bring in the Harry Potter fans. Even though it did make for an awesome fan made trailer of voldemort as the beast. Honestly thats what regained my interest in this movie and finally pushed me to watch it. I truly hoped to find one good song that I could download but none are worth it. The special effects are beautiful though. Yet the characters/furniture can be a bit much at times. Just not one I recommend."
