"I'm happy a movie like Joker became popular, as it did start a very important conversation about mental health for all members of society. That being said, I think the movie itself is just a tad too blunt. Joker takes a ton from its predecessor and influence Taxi Driver, right down to some camera angles, but I think getting the message out to people who would not watch the other film is good overall.
