And then, after a sold-out show at Chicago's Soldier Field, they called it quits. Now, decades later, the band members finally agree to reveal the truth. "Sam Claflin looks so different from Finnick in the Hunger Games movies. More to come as I watch... So far I love the hair and the vibe... Reminding me of a favorite time of my life. I'm guessing this was supposed to be Fritz, the band Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham were in before their solo album then Fleetwood Mac. Fritz opened for a lot of bands that went on to be huge. So this makes me think of that. "
" ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/4 Read the book too long ago to remember it all so didn’t care if it was faithful or not. I liked what they did with it! Such a great job of capturing the vibe of the 70s which doesn’t happen very often, the fashion, the scene, the music. I mean people weren’t generally hanging their butt cheeks out of their hot pants or wearing heavy makeup, even rock stars (well ok glam guys lol) but I’ll forgive it. The original music was kinda disappointing but did still feel 70s…just not massive hit 70s like Fleetwood Mac stuff etc. The story was well done and captivating, the acting mostly really good and by the end I really cared what happened to them all and wanted redemption. Now off to reread the book!"
"Wow. Not much else to say but wow. This is an awesome adaptation! The series captured the themes of selfishness, struggles of addiction and the differences between loving someone and being IN love with someone really well. Although there were some changes from the book, this show kept the essence of what made the story amazing and that’s what’s important. As opposed to the book, I actually liked Eddie as a character. There were a lot of changes like that that made the show special. The only change I didn’t like was the removal of Camila’s speech to Daisy in Chicago. I was really attached to that moment in the book. The actors were incredible, with Sam Claflin, Riley Keough, and Camila Morrone being the obvious standouts, though I especially enjoyed Suki Waterhouse’s performance as well. Also the music was incredible! I’ve been jamming to the Daisy Jones & the Six album for days now. I’m over all really impressed with this show and cast! (Side note: Warren was my favorite character! The man was just there for a good time and to play the drums and I loved that for him!!!)"
"I was interested, but I didn’t like the ending."
