"Honestly, I’m half convinced CJ Archer was put on this earth to write books that are perfect for me lol. Seriously, it’s that good. She’s realistic in the way women would have been treated at the time, but still manages to empower her female leads, writes really great slow burn, and historical-paranormal-romance is my absolute jam. The main character Hannah reads as very human and relatable. It’s great, honestly. "
