"I mean, this book is just as cheesy as the 1st one. But I kinda like that it's cheesy and uplifting in points that should he more tragic. The writing is basic and a very easy read. They've got so many creatures in this series, and I absolutely love it! I love the bond between Hudson and Grace. Jaxon became kind of a D Bag to her and can get annoying 😒 She grows as a character quickly and goes through way to many ups and downs for one kid to handle. I'm super glad that these were free to read on KU because I would not have had the space on my shelves for these giant books! I would recommend this to anyone who likes YA supernatural, and the MC always comes out on top."
