A warm and uplifting novel about an isolated witch whose opportunity to embrace a quirky new family--and a new love--changes the course of her life. As one of the few witches in Britain, Mika Moon knows she has to hide her magic, keep her head down, and stay away from other witches so their powers don't mingle and draw attention. And as an orphan who lost her parents at a young age and was raised by strangers, she's used to being alone and she follows the rules...with one exception: an online account, where she posts videos pretending to be a witch. She thinks no one will take it seriously. But someone does. An unexpected message arrives, begging her to travel to the remote and mysterious Nowhere House to teach three young witches how to control their magic. It breaks all of the rules, but Mika goes anyway, and is immediately tangled up in the lives and secrets of not only her three charges, but also an absent archaeologist, a retired actor, two long-suffering caretakers, and...Jamie. The handsome and prickly librarian of Nowhere House would do anything to protect the children, and as far as he's concerned, a stranger like Mika is a threat. An irritatingly appealing threat. As Mika begins to find her place at Nowhere House, the thought of belonging somewhere begins to feel like a real possibility. But magic isn't the only danger in the world, and when a threat comes knocking at their door, Mika will need to decide whether to risk everything to protect a found family she didn't know she was looking for....

"I absolutely adore this book. It’s my new comfort read. It’s thought out so well, everything flows, and you can tell the author spent a lot of time developing the plot. It’s funny, it’s sweet, it’s different. I hope this becomes a movie because I just want to see it brought to the big screen. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and so many more "
"I truly knew within the first 10% that this was going to be a new favorite I loved all the Characters so dearly the cozy witchy cottage core vibe was on point and the found family made my heart smile and the romance!! "So much heart and love in this book. Really, a great example of a slice-of-life or maybe cozy fantasy. For me, the tropes of the main characters were a little bit too prevalent (brooding man with dark past and sunshine girl with dark past) but they both help each other through their darkness in a healthy way. Absolutely loved the other characters. The twist at the end was very nicely done and the ending was satisfying. If someone is a fan of “The house in the Cerulean Sea”, they should enjoy this."

"I really did enjoy this one. Its a nice cozy read. Not the type of book Id normally read but I would definitely read something like this again. I liked how their relationship formed throughout the book it was cute (with Jamie and the others) And honestly I think the author could get away with a book 2 for this. (Slight Spoilers after here) I wanted to see them break the curse of all witches being orphans. So if there were to be a book 2 thats what id want it to be about. (It would probably take place years later). "
