"This is a great #science_fiction series , and I'm only guilty that I started reading it because of the movie. I love the characters and root for them in their persistent pursuit of the evil force at play, and constantly want to know more about the overall story along with the characters. I love the variety in #monsters created by the author, and the fact that the creatures aren't always pretty or fascinating to look at. #some_romance #fantasy #action_and_adventure #alien_contact #young_adult_fiction #survival #training "

"This is the second book. I Am Number Four is ok, but it's worth reading in order to get to the second one. And the third one, as well."

"Much better than the first book. Marina is a good addition to narrators especially because John's thought process and decisions bother me."

"The Power of Six is a great sequel to I am Number Four. The plot begins to get more complicated and new characters whose personalities are all very different are introduced. I like how this book begins the splitting of perspectives, where every 2 chapters the perspective switches to another character until action ensues at both ends towards the end and perspective switches rapidly. Very fun to read."

"A bit disappointing. It started so slow, then the last chapter was a blur and that was it. If the next book is the same way, I'll be disappointed. This is a great concept for a series...would have been nice to have more, I don't know, ...STUFF.

Oh! And I knew there was a Ten. I just didn't think that the appearance would be so casual or tossed in."

"I loved it. Picked up where I Am Number Four left off. It was slow to start out but that was because they had to introduce one very vital character to the story. That took time and explanation but it helped further the story. The first couple hundred pages were pretty slow but the last couple hundred really sped up. We finally start to see some movement towards an eventual conclusion. Budding romance, secrets uncovered, new characters revealed and incorporated into the story make for an intriguing conclusion. We are left wondering what will happen next and how it will all end up. I can't wait for the next book in the series!!!"
