"I really really enjoyed this book! It was easy to understand, but definitely had layers. And it kept my interest because questions would get answered throughout the book but then more would come up. Loved the ending and I just feel like this flowed really well. Definitely recommend! (Also just finished The Other Mrs. by same author and I recommend that as well!)"
"The best part of this book was the ending, which did come with an element of surprise. Overall, the book was lack-luster and lacked much beyond a basic, bland, and obvious writing style. I enjoyed the multiple point of view and timelines, this worked well for revealing certain details at the right time. "
"When I think about this book, I immediately think, “I really liked this book” but then I think about how I also wasn’t desperate to find time to get to the last pages. I would go days without picking this book up to rushingly devour a few pages before having to get real life things accomplished. It took me the longer to finish this book than it did to read my first 5 books of the month and when I try to think about why, nothing really comes to mind. I’ve learned to appreciate the flipped narrators and timelines things many thrillers have to offer. The characters were fine and their contributions to the story were well thought out. The chapters themselves were short and helped drive the book forward. When I would finally sit down to read, I would get through a solid chunk of pages. 3⭐️/5. "
"Wow! This was my first MK book. I was not disappointed. I was waiting to read this but so glad it's time came! I lover writing style. There was never a dull moment! I was kept on my toes the whole time. At one point I felt like should take a break and make one of those boards with red strings and create a timeline. It wasn't confusing but rather so riveting, I wanted to see if my guesses of who did what we're correct. They weren't! The best! I never saw it coming. The characters were so well written and the stories blended so nicely. I loved that Delilah was brought home safely. At first I was disappointed that there wasn't a point of view for here past the first part but it makes absolute sense as to why not! It wasn't her 😱 I feel a sympathy for Kate and for everyone who I pointed a finger out on the way to the end. I'm glad Kate wasn't dragged down with Bea!"
