One woman learns the secrets of the five Jaeger brothers in the new romance from New York Times bestselling author Penelope Douglas. On the other side of town, in the dark glades, under the rain…Macon is the oldest. Thirty-one. Ex-Marine. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him smile.Army is twenty-eight. A single dad with the most beautiful green eyes. He has no idea who he is, if not a Jaeger brother.Iron will be in prison soon. You’d never think it to meet him. He’s a nice guy, actually. But he can’t stop reacting to everything.Dallas is the one I hate. Twenty-one, cruel, and selfish. He takes and then throws away whatever’s left. And Trace is mine. Or he was for about two seconds. No one can tame him for long. Not that I ever wanted to. It was fun, but now I need to go home. Back to my side of the tracks. Away from the swamps and these men. To my parents’ big house. On my clean street. Where I’m never dirty or messy or hot. And I will. I’ll leave first thing tomorrow morning. I just want to crash on the couch tonight.Their house is dark and quiet, everyone else is asleep. Except for one. He sees me crying and comes at me from behind. I let him wrap his arms around my body and hold me tightly. His breath is on my neck, his fingers are in my hair, and he doesn’t stop there. I don’t think it was Trace.

"I’m sorry but DALLAS BONUS CHAPTER ?!?!?! I need his book right now. Devoured this book in 24 hours. It was really good. "

" Took me a bit to get into this listen. You will either love it or hate it. It’s a spicy reverse harem, age gap romance. This is a long audio book listen. Each character loves the same women in their own way, she must choose who she loves most. They make up a unique “family”. Has found family vibes. This book is not for everyone. I was intrigued enough to stick with the story to find out who Krisjen chooses in the end. I am unlikely to listen to it again."

"DNF at 145 pages. I typically like Penelope Douglas, but man this was hard to read. There were like 50 side characters, it was SO hard to keep track of who was who. I literally had to write them down. Also, can we talk about those names?! Also, the author said you don’t have to read Tryst Six first, and this could be a standalone but I disagree. Half the time I was confused and lost with what was going on and where they were. Lastly, this was just so corny. The FMC drove me nuts, I couldn’t understand her motives. "

"This would have been better if the story focused more on her and Macon and less of the brothers. I still enjoyed it, but nowhere near most of Penelope’s books."

"Loved! This book makes you fall in love with and route for every brother at least once. Such a good story with the perfect ending. "

"I love Penelope Douglas’ books, every time I read one of her books I absolutely fall in love with her characters, they become my family and friends. Not only does she have great spice 🌶️ but her characters are so emotionally bare, their struggles, pain and happiness. I truly get depressed when I have to say goodbye to them at the end. I read A LOT, sometimes a book a day but I always remember her stories and characters. "

"<br/><br/>From the start of chapter one, I knew this was going to be a fantastic read. By the end of chapter one, I knew it would be an explosive, wild ride. I don’t want it to end. <br/><br/>Just because you have money doesn’t mean you have a happy life. Krisjen finds herself across the tracks, finding her own family within the Jaeger brothers. Trace, Army, Iron, Dallas, and Maclan. <br/><br/>Each brother brings something different and unique to the family fold—each with their demons and faults. But Maclan is the one who selfishly took care of his family when their parents died and the most complex out of his family. This is why he is my favorite. Iron is a close second. <br/><br/><br/>If you read this book, do yourself a favor and get the Target paperback. It has bonus content, which you will want, especially since I didn’t want this book to end. <br/><br/>Not only is this book additive, but it’s also spicy with a fantastic plot. Written only the way Penelope Douglas can, it's a must-read. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for the brothers."
