"Listened to the audiobook on and off. <br/>It’s another one of those books to kill time. <br/>It basically talks about a person who just lost a loved one and the lies of omission that loved one never told/shared with her so she runs away to college not wanting to face or talk to people who love her about what she found out until her friend comes to see her and she finally opens up about it.<br/>I do like how her friend’s parents at the end of the book ask and have wanted to adopt her since they first met her and that she gave in and said yes. <br/><br/>"

"7/10 I enjoyed both the characters and the story! I would have rated this a nine If I would have seen more of the relationship between Hannah and Marin. I realize that throughout the story Marin talks about what great friends they are but this is only portrayed for a page or two at the beginning of the book. This is also one of those books where you stare creepily at its gorgeous cover, guilty as charged! 😅"

"If you’ve ever lost someone you love, and felt so completely alone, and afraid and absolutely absorbed by grief, then you NEED to read this book. I knew LaCour would soon be one of my favorite authors after I read just one of her titles. This book does not disappoint and 100% put her at the top of my list. Absolutely beautifully heartbreaking story, extremely well written, just hits you right in the feels. "
