The seductive and stunning #1 bestselling sequel to Sarah J. Maas's spellbinding A Court of Thorns and Roses.Feyre has undergone more trials than one human woman can carry in her heart. Though she's now been granted the powers and lifespan of the High Fae, she is haunted by her time Under the Mountain and the terrible deeds she performed to save the lives of Tamlin and his people. As her marriage to Tamlin approaches, Feyre's hollowness and nightmares consume her. She finds herself split into two different people: one who upholds her bargain with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court, and one who lives out her life in the Spring Court with Tamlin. While Feyre navigates a dark web of politics, passion, and dazzling power, a greater evil looms. She might just be the key to stopping it, but only if she can harness her harrowing gifts, heal her fractured soul, and decide how she wishes to shape her future-and the future of a world in turmoil.Bestselling author Sarah J. Maas's masterful storytelling brings this second book in her dazzling, sexy, action-packed series to new heights.

"*Edit: 12 hours after writing this I thought “wow, I miss everyone” and downloaded the next book 😂* Guys, look, don’t come for me (okay come for me if you want to, I get it) but… this book was just way too long. I would have loved it if it were 200 pages shorter (I’m down bad for Rhysand) but the bloat slowed my reading experience. Looking at the next book and seeing it’s over 700 pages has me debating whether I should continue with the series. 🫣"
"Even though this book is considered a part of the Fantasy-romance genre, there were so many plot twists😳! Characters who I originally hated, I have grown to love and characters who I loved I now hate (although hate is a bit of a strong word). Without giving out any spoilers, I can say that trauma was a large theme in this book and was beautifully written in a way that makes you deeply empathize and relate to the characters. The love story that goes on is everything you could ask for in a book: at times, it can be spicy, and others it can be so heartwarming and wholesome. This may be a hot take for some, but I’m of the belief that the only reason you read the first book is to get to this one. It’s. That. Good. A little tip for anyone reading this book: it ends off on a cliffhanger, so be sure to have the 3rd book ready or die in suspense of what’s about to happen next🫡."
