"Any one else read this recently? I was just curious as to people’s thoughts on the drastic difference in daily life and expectations of children. That being said, one thing also stood out to me: when the girls are talking of their fantasies with their neighbor Laurie they don’t say ‘in ten years’ they say ‘if we’re all alive in ten years’ which is incredibly sad to me."
