"Did I like this book as much as Caraval? No. This book surprised me. Not in twists and turns like Caraval did, but in how much I grew to enjoy Tella's perspective. This book was way more predictable than the last (it doesn't help that I accidentally read Once Upon a Broken Heart first) but I still thought it was a very fun addition to the series."
"Honestly this book made me want to SCREAM !! Why is Tella so untrusting. Jacks is the WORST. Where was Scarlett literally the whole book and how come Julian was in it like twice??? Like I loved their story line and they really aren’t even going to be in the SECOND ONE. Also man did I wish this book wasn’t YA because Dante had me feeling some type of way 🫣"
"*** SPOILERS *** i really dont know how i feel about this book. It was kinda hard to get into it at first. But the plot twist was great, and i loved Jacks. It wasn’t as good as Caraval, but I’m still going to read Finale to see how this story ends, and read OUABH after, but I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that she would date the same man as her grandmother. Like what the hell. "
