"I just recently viewed this movie again, I forgot how good it actually is. This is a solid entry into the Fantasy/Action genre. The costumes are beautiful and the set designs are amazing. Some really good action sequences and decent CGI make this an exciting and enjoyable watch. 8.5/10"

"I really like this movie despite it not getting a lot of attention when it first released. I like films that are "heavy on war" like 300, Immortals, and Troy and the fact that it's based on Ancient Egypt makes it more enjoyable. I thought the casting was great with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Gerard Butler, Chadwick Boseman, Brenton Thwaites, and Elodie Yung. The characters' wardrobe is stunning and the scenery/sets look grand. The intro quickly drew me in and the effects are quite good. I wish the fight scenes were a little more intense and that the choreography was less predictable, but that's me being picky. I saw some reviews saying that Thwaites' character needed more development, however, I don't really agree because it's focus is more on the conflicts between the Egyptian Gods. There's some cute romance making this a nicer watch and gave some of the characters a purpose. The writing's funny and witty. Although I wish it went on longer, the ending satisfied me. I watch this a lot when I'm in the mood for the fantasy genre and when I just want something to play in the background. I still think this film's quite underrated and wish there were more like it. Give this one a try if you haven't already! I'd rate this an 8/10 🖤"
