The Age of Adaline

"I had seen a small scene from this movie on a social media platform, and I said to myself, "My wife would be interested in this one." So we watched it together on a "Netflix and chill" kind of night. It was a little bit longer than it should have been, but the story kept me engaged even though the dialogue was a little on the slow side. Blake Lively was charming in her role. Overall, it was a good watch. 7.5/10"

"It's a fine enough story, and the romance is good enough. However, if you are going to watch this, do it at 1.5x. There's a lot of needless scenery shots. Plus the dialogue itself is slow. Unless the narration is playing everything is slowed down. Maybe that was on purpose for metaphorical reasons, but it's just annoying to watch. The acting is good and the story is interesting but it's just not fun to watch."
