"SPOILERS-- anyone who is triggered by animal death or abuse in movies--the dog does NOT die. He kills the fish but we barely see it. Also great movie for something where no one dies. Also a bold statement about the long term effects of bullying. "

"Somehow this movie made the villain into the only likable character. The wife is as naïve as she can possibly be to the point that it’s difficult to watch because she’s so annoyingly optimistic about things most rational people would not be optimistic about. The wayward person that enters the lives of the married couple is definitely inappropriate regardless of what happened to him in his past and he definitely does not seem like he is all there and is not really a likable character because of it. So that leaves the “villain“ who except for one small scene actually seems To be the only rational character"
