"Just about every movie I rate these days is a 3. 4 is reserved for movies I watch more than once, which is rare these days of streaming. 5 are movies I've seen so many times it's ridiculous, and they are movies I can always put on and never get tired of. If it's a more recent movie, it's gotta be damn good and I watch a second time almost immediately like Dune part 1. Specifically this movie...Hunt for red October is a 5 star for me, and I consider it the best sub movie by far with Crimson Tide probably the 2nd best imo."

"It was good, except every shot from beneath the submarine was shot at the same depth, just below the surface, whether they were supposed to be 200 fathoms or 50 fathoms down. Killed the reality of it for me."
