All Quiet on the Western Front

"This movie shines a spotlight on the brutality and horrors of trench warfare during World War I at the Western Front, told from the German point of view. It's crazy and sad to think that 17 million people lost their lives fighting to move the front line without much success on either side during all that time. This movie is a hard watch in respect to its content and it is a little long, clocking in at about 2 1/2 hours. But it is very well done with great production value and acting all around. Very realistic. 8.5/10"
