"I watched the first one a few weeks ago and called it a masterpiece. Someone commented that the 2nd was better. They were right. In what we now know is the 2nd of a trilogy, we’re introduced to a Spider-Man of every creed and color. It’s fantastic and gives this old hippie hope that these kinds of movies will ingrain in the kids tolerance and acceptance. But I digress. Awesome soundtrack (I need more Gwen Stacy on drums!), just awe inspiring animation, great voice acting, so funny and the action scenes are unmatched. Also, I saw trailers for the new Troll movie (which I’m almost positive was marketed toward stoners), The Marvels, Blue Beetle and Grand Turismo and every one looked amazing. "
"Great movie! The graphics in the movie were amazing! Excited to see the next film. "

"As expected "Across the Spider-Verse" has some very entertaining mayhem and amazing animations but unfortunately doesn't live up to its flawless predecessor and falls prey to the superhero movie disease of deciding that a sequel has to be like the first part - just MORE. More leads and their storylines, more villains, more whacky Spider-Men versions. The movie still had some good laughs, fun Easter eggs, meta twists and great action but it tries to cram too much in, not leaving it enough time and breathing space to build emotional impact. Oh and it doesn't even try to have a satisfying ending because it is an unapologetic two-parter and just stops, so you better be ok with that. 7.5 out of 10 "

"Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse takes us on a thrilling journey through multiple dimensions, delivering an action-packed and visually stunning experience. Building upon the success of its predecessor, this animated film introduces new characters and expands the Spider-Verse in captivating ways.
The plot follows Gwen Stacy, known as Spider-Woman in her universe, as she grapples with guilt and the constant pursuit of the police after accidentally causing the death of her best friend, Peter Parker. Joined by the enigmatic Miguel O'Hara and Jess Drew, Gwen embarks on a mission to track down the Spot, a rogue scientist who seeks to manipulate colliders across various dimensions.
Meanwhile, in Brooklyn on Earth-1610, we reconnect with Miles Morales, who has taken up the mantle of Spider-Man. Struggling with the absence of Gwen and clashing with his parents, Miles finds himself entangled with the Spot's plans and embarks on a cross-dimensional adventure alongside Gwen, encountering a diverse array of Spider-Men, including Pavitr Prabhakar, Hobie Brown, and more.
The film excels in its ability to seamlessly blend multiple universes together, showcasing a visually stunning and distinct art style for each world. The animation is vibrant, energetic, and masterfully executed, capturing the essence of comic book aesthetics and translating it onto the screen. The action sequences are dynamic and exhilarating, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats throughout the film.
Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse strikes a balance between heart and humor, exploring the personal struggles and growth of its characters. The film delves into themes of identity, responsibility, and the consequences of tampering with the fabric of reality. The emotional weight carried by the characters, particularly Gwen Stacy and Miles Morales, adds depth and poignancy to their journey.
