"With the exception of Kenneth Branagh and his 'accent,' (any of which annoy me in his films; I am not sure why Branagh's villains all have to drone on like a comic villain and in a European accent), I enjoyed this sci-fi action film. I had to watch it in two sessions though, because it became too heady for me. It is a real adventure with "time" and consequences. In the same vein as Inception, it is a plot that you cannot describe completely. But I can say that I have never experienced anything like it."
"Don't know if I love it or hate it, somewhere in the middle. Really confusing on the first watch, really takes multiple viewings to get the story. I like the Main Character though, he's pretty mysterious to me at least, the movie has a great soundtrack. The dialogues is somewhat awkward to me for some reason, I've only seen this 2 times."
"This film stirred up a good bit of a controversy (re: the plot, the music, etc.) I’m not sure why the reactions were so strong. I get some of the criticism… inverted time on a scene to scene basis takes getting used to, and the music was loud at points. But, the premise of inverted time was made pretty clear, and the music wasn’t loud throughout. I’d say: turn on subtitles and go with the flow. Don’t get caught up on exact moments… just grasp the concept of inverted time and you’re good to go!"
