Cousins, Bo and Luke Duke, with the help of their eye-catching cousin, Daisy and moonshine-running Uncle Jesse, try and save the family farm from being destroyed by Hazzard County's corrupt commissioner, Boss Hogg. Their efforts constantly find the 'Duke Boys' eluding authorities in 'The General Lee', their 1969 orange Dodge Charger that keeps them one step ahead of the dimwitted antics of the small southern town's Sheriff, Roscoe P. Coltrane.

"We all loved the Hazzards from the Tv Series with the great Denver Pyle as Uncle Jessie. The movie was ok. Great casting for the Duke Boys, Daisy and Uncle Jesse. ******, Rosco and Boss Hogg were bad choices. First off Boss Hogg should be short & fat with a Napoleon complex, which Burt Reynolds falls short. And Rosco should be a lovable pea-brained imbecile which the movie missed entirely. With a better cast more consistent with the series this movie would have been outstanding."
