"It took me forever to see this movie. I have a phobia of water due to multi near death events so this is a nightmare for me. Finally I watched it and of course I was lured in by Tom Hanks and the sheer survival of man moments. When he made fire and gets all excited, I smiled. I wound up loving it but I am good with one viewing. "

"This is my favourite movie of all time. I often dreamt of living alone on an island. Far away from other humans. This strikes a particular cord for me. [SPOILERS AHEAD, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED] I get this unexplainable feeling when Chuck comes back to society and he is in a Hotel room laying on the floor besides an empty bed. He just turns the light on and off... on and off... on and off... in an earlier sceen, he looks at sushi and doesn't eat it as if his years away totally disconnected him from society and modern comfort. I felt like that so often."
