"What a beautiful movie! Words can’t express how impressive it is. This is by far the best film I’ve seen all year (from 2023). It is the movie that should be getting all the attention & praise. I had never heard of Bayard Rustin before- I was born several years after the March On Washington- but he seemed truly amazing. Colman Domingo is fantastic, as is the rest of the ensemble cast. Ironic too that this is the second movie of the year to feature an “appearance” of the late SC Republican former Senator Strom Thurmond (the other being Oppenheimer)!!"

"Call it Oscar bait, call the plot/story basic, but you can't deny it is a nice, easy watch. Coleman Domingo's performance is the best thing about this film. Although thoroughly outshines by the lead, the rest of the cast was pretty good too. Sadly when Domingo's presence isn't in the film, the movie suffered a lot. Its not bad, but it's not that good either."
