"I can see why this movie is held in high regard and recognize the impact it has on Anime as a whole. The animation, although super dated, is pretty good and had some panels that would still hold up well to today's standards. Action scenes were probably the best thing about this film.The story, however, isn't that compelling, and it's a version of one that viewers are well familiar with. Also, it the dialogue was a bit too exposition heavy for my taste. Overall, Vampire Hunter D is an 80s classic that Anime fans can enjoy and appreciate!"
