""Marmalade" is worth a watch if you’re a fan of its cast (and I am). The opening is intriguing, but the pace slows a bit until it picks up steam again at the halfway point with some cunning #plottwists, leading to a lightbulb moment ending. The sarcasm of the black prison cellmate, Otis, and the depictions of the main characters, Baron and Marmalade, kept me engaged. So did the "Once Upon A Time" storytelling style, where the narrative shifts between present and past. ⭐️3/5⭐️ for the strong performances by the actors and the well-crafted characters."

"This movie surprised me in a good way. Although the first half was a tad bit slow, I see it was necessary to set up the back story. So, around the halfway mark things begin to ramp up and there are a couple of good twists thrown in, that make this one reminiscent of The Usual Suspects... Just a little. The actors playing the main characters all do a great job, but Camila Morrone delivers a standout performance as Marmalade. This was a cool little movie that I didn't expect to like as much as I did. 8/10"

"This is a fun heist movie with cute as can be Stranger Things’ Joe Keery and Daisy Jones’ Camilla Marrone both playing as far away from those characters as can be. Gets way better the further you get into it. "

"if you need ur faith restored in creative storytelling, TURN THIS ON!!! the kind of movie you gotta go in not knowing a thing. unfortunately i think i knew a little too much. still really really great and such a fun pace i LOVED the directing, it was delightfully over the top. i love the small town big dreams vibes. the ending was soooo good my only complaint is that i wanted to live in it a bit longer.
