Arthur and the Invisibles

"I have only seen this film once. Back when I was 10. I watched it with my grandmother. Anytime I see the picture of it, I think of her. She recently passed away, and I tear up every time I see the picture. I rewatched it tonight, and I still teared up in the absence of my grandmother. I am not sure why I liked this movie as a child. Probably because (SPOILER) the kid saves the day and since I'm always the scapegoat I liked someone cheering on a child for once. Anyway, the movie is disturbing. The boy is 10 years old and already has the hots for a princess. The princess is said to be 1000 it turn out that it goes off flowers so she's only 10, but still. Then 2 10 years old get married by having some super power kiss. First kiss gives someone eachothers traits. Anyway, what? This movie is weird. My grandma truly put up with a lot having to sit through that. Oh and if the princess is 10 then they also take her baby brother who is 3 on the dangerous mission 🤦🏻‍♂️"

"This is such a nostalgic movie that holds so much creativity and imagination. I watched this a lot as a kid, but even now it's still entertaining because of its strong plot and array of fun characters. Freddie Highmore carries this film, of course, with his amazing acting and devotion to his character that was believable to me as a kid. The action and adventure's stimulating and funny to watch and the "A-List" cast fit their characters really well -especially Bowie. I wish end credits in films today were more amusing like this, too. The parents and their involvement was a little weird and a couple of scenes slowed the pace, but I'd rate this a 7/10 🖤"
