"I wanted to like this movie more than I actually did. Brendan Fraser is a great actor, but he couldn't carry this movie alone. It's a great story, and it has some really interesting ideas, but it's just not all that memorable. It was a fun enough watch though. "

"It's a cool idea, but was just boring. I don't understand how fire breath can be learned by other characters. How do his hands not burn with his fire, but do in fireplaces. Where did the writer go. I feel bad for the girl as she never got to be around other kids. I also feel bad for the mum. Also, why does she call her dad by his first name."
