"I've reviewed this before. I love Anthony Edwards and Val Kilmer. Tom Cruise is great as Maverick. I saw this in the theater with one of my cousins. The soundtrack is stellar. Prime 80's fare. Recommended. "

"Just watched this for the first time since being an adult. And this film still holds up pretty well. This has that good 80’s cheese all over it. The Top Gun theme song “Take My Breath Away” and “Danger Zone” is played so many times through the film but their such great songs it never gets old. I only saw this when I was a child and it use to come on HBO cable all the time.For a 1986 film the special effects are still fairly good. I don’t think I’ve seen Val Kilmer in a film in such a long time but him and Tom Cruise play well off each other. Didn’t realize how old Top Gun was but it’s a 80’s classic."

"I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just boring and a little cringy. Mostly I think because the first time I ever saw it was in 2022. It’s definitely one of those movies that you needed to see in the 80s or 90s to really appreciate today. "
