Sucreread this for the first time at 27 and was pleasantly surprised! it's definitely a child appropriate amount of creepiness. also, her sister who is cognitively disabled (no specific diagnosis given) is very well rounded. there's a lot of different interactions with her that I think would be important for even adults of today to learn from. she also has my favorite lines in the book, and her relationship with her sister (the main character) is very realistic.
