Bonnie SmartCharacters and setting are super similar to Hidden Pictures, almost felt like a knock off. But I’m glad I stuck it out because the plot twists made it worth it and the ending was very satisfying.
Bonnie SmartSimultaneously heavy and light hearted. The story was a bit slow to build but you grow to care for the characters as if they’re people you truly know. This book has a feeling of “this was written for me” and I wouldn’t be surprised if many other readers get that feeling. There aren’t enough books like this - it satisfies so many sides of being nerdy and the complicated dynamics in all relationships.
Bonnie SmartDid not expect this book to take the turns it did. Haven’t read anything else remotely like it.
Bonnie SmartOne of the best books I’ve ever read. Absolutely devastating though, but Im into that.
Bonnie SmartBest book ever written. Loved the character so much it was hard to let go when the book was over.
Bonnie SmartIt’s really good. Lovely book about Canadian history and ancestry. Deals with some hard topics and still has humour. Can’t say that’s common in books.
Bonnie SmartCrazy how much the set up is like The Housemaid. Plot is quite different when you get into it. Glad I read both books, I like them both for different reasons. The kid in this book is super creepy and who doesn’t love that? Makes for some good classic horror.
