Not V. ImportantOne of my favorite movies from when I was a kid.

Not V. ImportantI am only 4 out of 8 episodes in right now but it happened that quickly without realizing it. This is a Korean crime drama series and I can't think of any shows I have personally watched to compare it to. So, as far as comparable movies go, this is in league with films like Frailty (ft. Bill Paxton), and the M. Night trilogy of Unbreakable, Split and Glass. Not only do they compare in what they make you question about circumstances, etc, but the visual style used to tell the story also adds flavor and makes it even more enjoyable. I have not finished watching the series as I have only paused to make note here. My only concern is if this will end with this season or will it end on a cliffhanger? I hope it ends with this season leaving me feeling like I watched something memorably enjoyable. Instead of with a cliffhanger and a link to an article months from now about how Netflix decided to cancel the second season... ***Correction*** - This is comparable to the Korean TV series Vigilante although A Killer Paradox is not as violent or graphic. But Vigilante made me want to rewatch it immediately after I finished the first season. But that's probably just me. ***Update*** - I finished the series. Happy if only one season. And this could have been 1.5 to 2 episodes shorter to tighten it up a bit.

Not V. ImportantI really don't know what to say about this movie. However, for the gamers reading this the only thing I could think about while watching this movie was the game "My Friend Pedro". It just came to me! I would say this film is full of action, trippy, and still manages to work in a plot.

Not V. ImportantI had never heard of this one and found it by chance and very glad I did. This is what the overly hyped and under-delivered Ninja Kamui should have been. The show is different in how it is slow paced, yet full of information and clues, and blended with the right amount of action. I also like how it is more than just about showing the fighting. It touches on some of the training aspects, other capabilities, and all while including in the advancement of their society using technology. I hope there will be a season 2.

Not V. ImportantI have never cried so much watching anything in my life. There are 8 episodes and at least 6 if not all made me shed a few tears. I'll just blame it on getting old and emotional. 😉 The character development and the emotions elicited from each episode for a lack of a better way to describe it is a lot. Sadly, some fiction is based on reality. This is Astroboy-esque which is before my time and even though I watched some old episodes as a kid I don't really remember them but for those that do, this could be for you. Especially as we head down the path of AI as we are now.

Not V. ImportantOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG Made the list of my favorite anime. This one is an example of why I have managed to continue watching anime well into adulthood. Anyone who considers them cartoons for kids is clueless.
