For five years, from 1975 to 1980, the Yorkshire Ripper murders cast a dark shadow over the lives of women in the North of England. 13 women were dead and the police seemed incapable of catching the killer. No one felt safe – and every man was a suspect.

"It is shocking to me how many infamous criminals were caught by mistake. Police were so incompetent in this case that it's a wonder he didn't kill every woman in Britain and get elected police chief."

"Yorkshire Ripper maybe the UKs most infamous SK this goes into how they tried to catch him and how easy he got away with it this was during the "golden age" of SK when they all got away with it for so long, thankfully those days are over with now with DNA and ctv everywhere they get caught early on but back then must've been a scary time in the areas they prowled in. Good watch for true crime fans!"

"This was an interesting mini series, honestly I had never heard of the Yorkshire Ripper before this and I assumed it was gonna be an investigation of Jack the Ripper. It was really informative and had that edge, intrigue and grip of Netflix’s true crime series "
