Samurai Jack

"I have watched all 5 seasons of Samurai Jack, and it’s awesome. Go watch it now. The first four seasons are pretty meh if I’m being honest, they have their moments (Episode 1 of course, The Birth of Evil in season 3, some of the side characters like The Scotsman), it still falls flat. The whole plot of the show goes: Aku is evil and before the final strike of a mystical sword wielded by the Samurai, Aku opens a time portal to the future, where he is more stronger, and the Samurai has to find a way back to the past. Maybe that was worth 2 or 3 seasons? The rest of the show is just Samurai Jack (he gets his name in the first episode) wandering around the world, looking for time portals, finding one, then it being destroyed by Aku. The fifth season makes the whole series worth it. The fourth season ended in 2004 and the fifth season started in 2017, so it got a second chance and I’m glad it did. The 4th season left it on a cliffhanger, while the fifth season had a proper ending. The fifth season brought back all the side characters, brought brutalness and drama. It was a severe and welcome change. Like I said, the fifth season makes the first four seasons worth watching. "I love the whole series including the recently released season 5 that took more than 10 years to bring out. Jack was a newly appointed samurai when a mysterious figure showed up to his village wreaking havoc. Jack defended up until he was transported to a new world in order to follow the being and finish him for good. His adventures are classics. "

"Atmospheric, beautiful, funny, action-packed. This series is the standard by which I measure animated series. The only others that come close (that I've seen) are Batman:TAS and Rick and Morty."

"Only seen glimpses as a kid and was more captivated by other shows at the time. Now giving it an honest chance and adult attention, I’m shocked on how many masterful episodes I missed out on. Gendy’s Primal will always take first place for best cartoon of all time in my opinion but this show he made before is just as good, just a different tone and obviously setting. At least, this show gave me my favourite cartoon villain so far. Aku is a legendary 10/10 character."
