mani_m shared a tip "It’s so good, not the typical Batman series it gives it’s own twists & turns while really giving Justice to the backgrounds of the cops & villains that make the franchise. Watching James Gordon become this stand up guy & truthful man to get broken down into the system but still stay true to himself. I love Alfred’s origin story. The only issue I have is that they could not stick to one single time era but the contrast between rich & poor is excellent the director did a good job."

InsaneWraith shared a tip "Is it accurate to the comic books? Not really. Is it still worth a watch? Yes. It sidelines Bruce through most of the show and gives the villains a chance to take the spotlight. It's a fun concept and you'll find yourself rooting for the bad guys at times."

Violence stabbing slicing shooting exploding Im pretty sure theres a few stabbing in the eye scenes a villain forces penguin and civilians to eat meat pies that he made from homeless people Slicing heads off exploding people (isnt too graphic) chopping off hands hitting hands with Hammers Its brief when theres Violence I think 14 year olds can watch this, almost no iffy stuff, but easily skippable when there is. No fbombs, just Sht Btch btstrd and damn"

Mix between a crime show and drama, but you also get really cool Gotham and Batman lore. If you can get over the soap like drama this show is addicting. Great actors, especially the penguin."

If you are looking for amazing acting this is the show for you, especially Robin Lord Taylors performance (penguin). A big con is that it's a little slow in season one, Gotham truly gets going after Edward's character ark. I wouldn't suggest this show if you want a story following the Batman lore, the story is quite good but re-news it a whole bunch."
