"Based around the events before and during the Japanese occupation of Korea, centering on characters from many sides of the occupation from those brought up in different situations. Worth watching as the many characters learn of home and their culture, while trying to find their path in a nation that will begin to fight for its freedom!"
"This drama has such a different feel. It feels real. No sugar coating none of that. It’s dark and it’s painful and it’s emotional. It takes a couple of episodes to get into it, but once I got past that I could hardly turn it off. I always recommend this but not everyone likes period dramas. This one though…this one’s brilliantly directed. Kim tae ri never fails her supporting fans!!"

"It took about four episodes to get into, but those first episodes set the show up so nicely. This show has one of the best love squares I’ve ever seen, and these three men are just simping over this girl, and rightfully so, she’s a badass. It’s also so refreshing to see an Eastern portrayal of westerners and not Vice versa like most mainstream movies and tv shows. This show has everything, and al the main characters are so likable!! Like I have laughed, cried, and had my heart strings pulled on!"
"So good! It wasn’t as cheesy as most k dramas can be. I thoroughly enjoyed watching how the characters grew and how they were all intertwined. The interaction between the characters was heartfelt and even laugh out loud hilarious at times."
