"Probably the best Transformers show ever, at worst tied with Trasnformers: Prime. I mainly sought this out to recommend as a cosmic horror show. I rewatched it at a very dark time in my life, and the setting and time struck fear into my heart. They are from our future, but end up in the past before humns exist during a battle with the Predacons, the Decepticons' descendants. It's just two small teams on a foreign planet and time, alone in a vast world that is also extremely lonely. This feeling of endless nothing, aside from animals that could rip humns to pieces as snacks, has stuck with me and will never go away while watching the show. It also deals with a lot of extremely mature themes and problems that you wouldn't expect from a Saturday morning cartoon. Beast Wars is, simply put, the ****."
