"In a large mixing bowl combine 6oz of The Boys, 3oz of Metalocalypse, add in 2oz of montage-related tears and a truly great cast. Honestly if you liked The Boys (also Prime), and you like (or are fine with) animated projects, super good chance you’re going to respond positively to this series. It has all the brutality that The Boys offered up, the animation style (and awesome gore) of Metalocalypse, plus a little extra heart - mostly via sad (but effective) montages. All I knew going in was that it was really hardcore, and that it was about super heroes lol. I really fell in love with this series, and the plot line is really pretty fresh for a very tired genre. *Highly* recommend 👍👍👍"

"Yay love when my long review gets deleted. This might be a hot take but I really don’t think invincible is that good. I love the action. But every time anyone but mark and nolan are on screen I barely care. Maybe I don’t care for superhero things as much or don’t like much of the characters I don’t know. I do like robot and Debbie though. And somewhat eve but they didn’t use her much this season. I like many of the characters but I feel like only a few besides the main get much development. That really is just a personal nitpick not every show needs almost every character to be focused on. I guess I just mainly get in to shows because of that Too much dialogue for me in season 2. Plus the amber plot was just so boring. It’s just felt super just basic superhero to me. The second half was actually solid a lot more action. I don’t know maybe the boys and invincible do contrast with viewers tastes I guess. I really love the boys but think invincible is decent. Whereas my friend likes invincible more and the boys is okay for him. Don’t even know what I’m talking about anymore but I hope season 3 is better. Almost forgot a lot of lazy animation in the show when they literally made a joke about it. But they doubled down and literally used more noticeable laziness."
