"🌟👍🏾👍🏾🌟 An interesting, slowly-unraveling & methodically-planned #revenge story👌This is a #TWO_PART #SouthKorean revenge-drama series about a woman (now in her late 30’s) getting revenge on her rich, entitled childhood bullies. Thanks, @mco for your enticing & clever review here which prompted me to watch!🤩
📝 NOTE: Each episode lasts over 60 minutes. Part 2 will air in March 2023. There are a TOTAL of #16episodes ~ #English_Dubbed ~ #subtitles "
"OMG, this one is a great mystery, drama series. First of all let me start how I found about this perfect series in Netflix. I was browsing Tik Tok and there was a short video about Song Hye-Kyo and her divorced. How she got her redemption from her personal life because of this role she play on “The Glory”. Many love this drama and her acting skills were once again respected and became the once beloved Korean actress. Well many started mentioning this series how everything was going right for her and that what happened to her was just unfair. The series was just a pandora box where every antagonist actor got what they deserved. Song Hye-Kyo played her role perfectly as well all the actors from this series. Every one had a dark secret and many more to uncover. A web of mysteries of how things you did in the past can come and hunt back. The main characters just set the pieces of their evil deeds and everything fall in perfectly as the Go game the protagonist love playing. She did this without really dirtying her hands. It was just perfect, I totally recommend it."
"Dark. Suspenseful. Graphic Imagery. Existential.
Themes✨ Revenge, Trauma, Corruption, Power Dynamics, Classism Dynamics, Institutional Corruption, Dark Parts of Humanity, Betrayal, Loss, Compassion, and Redemption
This is an emotionally dark show depicting the dark parts of humanity that often lurk behind privilege, superficial masks, entitlement, power, and oppression. There are many graphic parts however, I think these scenes are related to understanding the brutality and lack of empathy/conscience that certain people are capable of on a realistic level. There is an emotional rawness that touches on so many parts of the human experience, especially related to betrayal, loss, dehumanization, and survival. Spoilers after this point******** **************************** **************************************** Trigger Warnings ⚠️ Graphic brutality and violence, child abuse, child death, suicide, suicidality, domestic violence, severe oppression and corruption, murder, trauma, sexual assault/violence, loss, substance use disorders & addictions, and on.
