"I hadn't seen this movie in many years. I am glad I returned to watch it agsin. I didn't realize how good the origin story was for what became the Mad Max series. The storyline has morphed in the latest sequels. I prefer the type of action in the first two Mad Max movies: survival in a lawless world, and trying not to become ruthless like the lawless."

"Mad Max is fine start to the Franchise it’s defiantly not the craziest out of the bunch, it’s very tame for Mad Max standards but it still has that flare for dramatics! Its like the world hasn’t fully ended in this movie but it’s on the brink! I love the relationship max has with his wife and you believe the devastation of her death and how that’s the catalyst for all the madness after."

"Conceptually, it's great! But it's visually pretty simple and boring, for me. People doing their own extreme stunts though - there's nothing better to watch, and this movie has quite a few moments of true insanity...even some...MADness!"
