"3.5⭐️ The 80s weren’t known for sophisticated film making and this is no exception but yet it’s still iconic and weirdly enjoyable despite its VERY problematic treatment of the fem characters. Sandahl Bergman’s badass warrior does steal Ahnold’s thunder though by providing the film’s emotional apex and delivering the most memorable line. But it is one of his earliest films before he was really known for that. Conan was the role he was born to play and he’s mainly just flexing his muscles and awkwardly kicking ass in this. Overall good medieval sacrificial snake cult fantasy if that’s what you’re into 😂 "
