"Absolutely adore this series. I've rewatched this several times since the original airing. It's dramatic and hilarious and not perfect but I love it. I've read the books and it is different but great in and of itself. Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman is the best character but the rest are wonderful too. Watch it you'll never regret it. "

I love the southern gothic feel of it all and it’s a very mature look at vampire and how they might actually conduct themself in the modern day…but only in the first season, the other season really fly off the handle..I still liked in a dumb way but I know it wasn’t very good..but the first season is a masterpiece of vampire entertainment. "
