"I don't like what was done with the story. It's completely different aside from names and some locations. I was very disappointed by this as a life long Anne Rice fan. Not recommended if you are an Anne Rice devotee. "

"I don’t think Anne Rice ever intended for Lestat and Louis to actually have sex. Especially right away. The original movie does it better hinting they are a couple who adopted a daughter. It never actually needed them to go at it for us to get the hint. So think that is what the shows does wrong. Of course that’s what critics love about the show. To me the movie is much better paced. The show isn’t bad but even the first episode is a chore to get through."
