"a complete acid trip I know I have never watched it but somehow I am not experiencing déjà vu but the even stronger déjà vécu. I must’ve watched this in a past life that was going on simultaneously as my current one. ahh time and consciousness is a trip. Definitely the best the franchise has to offer. It starts off strong, but I will admit it starts going to complete and utter 💩 reminiscent of the spinoff legacies around halfway through with insanely lazy writing. One thing I do have to note is this franchise seems to have some of most hateful subtext out of all the media I’ve come across. literally The first episode has a woman say to a man who saved her from S/A that he was a worse man because he wanted to talk. "

"One of my favorite shows ever. Teenage me loved vampires and you gotta love bad brother vs. good brother love triangles. Such nostalgia. I've rewatched the series twice. "

"Absolutely loved this show. I always heard about it, but never actually watched it and Im so glad I did. Binge watched it even though the 7th season made me lose some interest, but the show still ended sad and sweet. Spoiler Warning.. a bit… Enzo and Bonnie were endgame for me, Tyler and Matt became pointless characters at some point later on in the seasons, Caroline had the best character development ever and finally Damon and Elena were not endgame for me personally I was kinda rooting for Stefan and Elena but im comfortable with how things ended in the show. "
